To and from Chicago's Airports

By Train: Follow airport signs to "Trains to City". Take the Blue Line toward downtown and exit at Clark and Lake. Transfer to the Green Line train heading towards Harlem. Exit Green line at Oak Park. Turn right out of the station and head north for 2 blocks. The Write Inn is at 211 N Oak Park Avenue.

Fare is approximately $2.75, but please check the CTA web site at www.yourcta.com for fare changes. Kiosks for transit cards are located by the train entrance at the airport, however, they only accept cash and do not provide change. Please have small bills/change with you.

Cab/Car Service/ Rental: Take the Tri-State Tollway (294) South to the Eisenhower Expressway (290). Follow 290 East (towards Chicago) to Harlem Avenue and exit the freeway. Turn left at the top of the ramp to head North on Harlem. Continue on for several blocks and turn east (right) on Lake Street. Follow Lake street East for approximately 1 mile to Oak Park Avenue. Turn left (North) on Oak Park Avenue. We are 1.5 blocks north of Lake Street on the left-hand side of the street.

By Train: Follow airport signs to train stations (the El train is located through the parking lot at Midway). Take the Orange Line towards downtown and exit at Roosevelt.  Transfer to the Green Line train heading towards Harlem.  Exit the Green Line at Oak Park.  Turn right after leaving the train station and head north for 2 blocks.  The Write Inn is at 211 N. Oak Park Avnue.  Fare is approximately $2.25, but please check the CTA web site at www.yourcta.com for fare changes.  Kiosks for transit cards are located by the train entrance at the airport.  Please note:  the kiosks only accept cash and change is not provided.  Please have small bills/change with you.

Cab/Car Service/ Rental: When you are leaving Midway Airport, turn left (north) onto Cicero Avenue.  Take Cicero Avenue to 39th street and turn left (west).  Follow 39th street to Oak Park Avenue and make a right turn (north).  You will follow Oak Park Avenue for a few miles.  When you reach Lake Street, continue on Oak Park Ave. for 1 ¼ more blocks.  We are on the left (west) side of the street.
